Anyways, the short answer is. Learning the program would be above 6 depending on how you take it. Using it once you are used to it would be about 4 without add-ons. With add-ons I would say 2

Well, after 3 years of learning I dont think is painful at all. In fact I think is one of the most comfortable and fun programs I have ever used. But the thing is, you gotta learn how to use it and get used to it because is quite different from other design programs,learning can take a bit of time, I'm still learning to this day btw. How painful it is to learn depends on how you decide to teach yourself and what you want to do, because there's many things that you can do in it besides 3d graphics, but it takes a lot of time, patience and practice in any case.
